Here are some recent business or investment type concept images I took of small 1 ounce gold bars. The setup was fairly simple with just using a small handheld flash. The flash was shot onto a piece of white foamcore for reflection onto the gold. Seemed to work fairly well. The truly 'gold' color took some post-processing, but the out of camera results were close.
In the top image I placed the bars in a small brass balance scale I borrowed from my sons collection of misc junk.

ReplyDeleteyes, gold is hard to get 'truly' gold colored but with some judicious color adjustments you can get pretty good results.
